Brad Edwards delivered a spectacular performance at Lights Out 16 at South Georgia Motorsports Park, capturing the LAT Racing Oils Pro 275 victory in dominant fashion.
Event Highlights
- Qualifying: Edwards initially secured the No. 1 qualifying spot on Thursday with a 3.634-second pass, later moving to No. 2 by Friday.
- Round 1: Defeated 2024 champion Mo Hall, 3.72 to Hall's 3.74
- Round 2: Overcame Bill Lutz with a clean and strong 3.70 run.
- Semifinals: Took down Brian McGee, 3.71 to a 3.73
- Finals: Matched up against Australian racer Grantley Schloss, securing the Pro 275 victory with a 3.684-second pass at 216.51 mph.
Following his monumental win, Edwards expressed deep gratitude to his team, sponsors, and supporters:
