Blevins credited his team for their dedication and hard work throughout the weekend. "I'm very blessed to have the team I have," Blevins said. "Starting with Jamie Miller, Johnny Miller, James Waits, and the entire RedHatMafia, these guys put so much into my program, and none of this would be possible without them. This win makes three now, and it's just from all of the hard work finally paying off."
The weekend presented challenges with cold temperatures and rain delaying early runs, leaving little room for testing. "It wasn’t the norm for any of these teams, but we didn’t let that change our way of doing things. We just put our heads down and said, 'Let's do what we do—make clean laps,'" Blevins explained.
He also acknowledged the critical role of his crew chief. "I'm so glad to have Jamie [Miller] making all the calls. It gives me such confidence to just do my part and pull the trigger."
Looking ahead, Blevins is focused on keeping the momentum rolling into Lights Out 16. "We never let up on trying to improve our program and make our hot rod better and better. Definitely looking to keep this momentum rolling in just a few weeks."
He also gave special thanks to his wife, Jill Blevins. "She keeps the compound fed and clean, ensuring we have what we need—not to mention putting up with my crazy self," he joked.
