Grantley Schloss Scores Big Pro 275 Victory at Shakedown at M'Town
Grantley Schloss drove his powerful Chevy Nova to victory in the highly competitive Pro 275 class at the AJPE Shakedown at M'Town, hosted by US 131 Motorsports Park. Schloss earned his forth final-round appearance and third win of the 2025 Radial Outlaws Racing Series season.
Event Highlights
Qualified #3:
Schloss made a statement early, qualifying third with an impressive 3.687 at 202.16 MPH, setting him up as a strong contender heading into eliminations.
Round 1:
In an easy first round, Schloss received a broke bye after opponent Timothy Oros couldn't make the call. Schloss elected to abort the run, preserving equipment for the battles ahead.
Round 2:
Schloss returned in round two with a solid 3.735 at 202 MPH, defeating Eddie Harrison, who spun and slowed to a 4.35.
Semifinals:
In a thrilling matchup against the reigning 2024 Pro 275 Champion Mo Hall, Schloss secured a holeshot victory. Despite Hall running a quicker 3.665, Schloss’s near-perfect reaction time of .002 paired with his 3.676 ET ensured him the victory over Hall’s slower .055 reaction.
Final Round:
Facing number-one qualifier and fan-favorite Lyle Barnett in the finals, Schloss delivered another powerful run, clocking a 3.670 to claim victory. Barnett, who deployed his chutes prematurely, slowed to a 3.745, handing Schloss the win.
