Jessie Coulter Scores Second Ultra Street Win of 2025 at Bama Outlaws

Jessie Coulter Scores Second Ultra Street Win of 2025 at Bama Outlaws

Jessie Coulter emerged victorious in Ultra Street at the 2025 Bama Outlaws at Alabama International Dragway, marking his second win of the Radial Outlaws Racing Series season. Coulter’s driving and tuning skills helped him through a challenging event filled with weather delays and an intense Ultra Street field.

Event Highlights

Qualified #5: Coulter began the weekend by securing the fifth qualifying spot, posting a solid 4.485 at 161.05 mph.

Round 1: With a first-round bye run, Coulter experienced tire spin, yet he quickly regrouped and prepared for upcoming competition.

Round 2: Coulter showed outstanding reaction time, running 4.440 paired with an incredible .001 reaction time, to defeat tough competitor Jackson Henderson.

Semifinals: Coulter faced a very close race against Terry Wilson, winning with a 4.429 at 162.33 mph, edging out Wilson’s strong effort of 4.437 at 157.83 mph.

Finals: In a dramatic final round against #2 qualifier Jason Trevino, Coulter secured the victory on a crucial holeshot. Coulter’s quicker .011 reaction time combined with his 4.420-second run outpaced Trevino’s faster but losing 4.412 and slower .069 reaction.

Coulter Reflects on a Challenging Yet Rewarding Win

After the race, Coulter emphasized his team's perseverance despite difficult weather and track conditions:

"It was a long week in Alabama as we watched it rain about every day we were there. Despite the conditions, the track crew managed to get us four qualifiers. To say we are struggling with the extra weight of the car is an understatement, but we finally got the hot rod down pretty consistent starting in E2, and a holeshot win in the finals put us in the winner’s circle. Can’t thank everyone involved enough!"

Looking Ahead

With two Ultra Street victories already this season, Jessie Coulter has solidified himself as a front-runner in the class. As the Radial Outlaws Racing Series continues, competitors and fans alike will be watching closely to see how Coulter’s season unfolds. Our next event is the AJPE Shakedown at M'Town at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, MI.

Stay tuned for more updates and results from the Radial Outlaws Racing Series.
