Ken Quartuccio has been on a hot streak in the sport of drag racing in 2025 on his way to capturing the ProCharger Radial vs the World (RvW) victory at the 2025 Battle for the Thrones at Rockingham Dragway. Quartuccio, who qualified in the number one spot, left no doubt about his competitiveness with an impressive series of runs throughout the event.

Event Highlights

• Qualifying: Qualified #1: Quartuccio opened the weekend strong, securing the top qualifying spot with an outstanding 3.478 at 210.77 mph, setting the pace for the rest of the field.
• Round 1: Ken took advantage of a bye run, laying down a solid 3.544 at 207 mph pass, gaining valuable data for the later rounds.
• Round 2: Continued his momentum by defeating Rod McMaster, clocking a 3.535 at 207 mph to McMaster’s 3.97.
• Semifinals: Quartuccio matched up against the 2024 RvW Champion, Chris Daniel. Quartuccio’s 3.51 at 207 mph edged out Daniel’s strong run of 3.57 at 206 mph, putting Ken into the finals.
• Finals: Facing Ned Dunphy, Quartuccio delivered under pressure, posting another exceptional run of 3.535 at 206 mph, beating Dunphy’s solid 3.573 at 209 mph to clinch the event victory.

Quartuccio’s wife, Denise, enthusiastically celebrated the team’s hard-earned victory, noting the unique trophy and reflecting on a challenging but rewarding weekend:

"We won RVW at Battle of the Thrones! The trophy? A Golden Throne! Scott and I are going to have to have shared custody of it though. 😂 This race was on par with the true radial outlaw racing craziness—long days, long nights—but it was worth it. Ken and I are so very grateful. Our crew did a hell of a job all weekend, and our driver was 👌."
