Scotty Lovell Wins Gangster X Finale as Maddie Malone Takes Championship

Scotty Lovell drove his 1989 Ford Mustang to the Gangster X win at No Mercy 17, finishing a five-round run through eliminations with a final-round victory over Jake Barlow.

The season finale also saw Maddie Malone crowned the FuelTech Radial Outlaws Racing Series Gangster X champion.

Lovell qualified 14th and opened eliminations with a win over Josh Varnadore. He then advanced past No. 3 qualifier Tony Hill in round two.

In the third round, Lovell defeated Nick Kennedy before meeting Jason Gallant in the semifinals. The win over Gallant put Lovell into the final against Barlow, the No. 4 qualifier.

Lovell took the final-round win to cap his run through the 27-car Gangster X field at South Georgia Motorsports Park.
