
Youmans Captures LDR Victory at 2026 US Street Nationals
Tommy Youmans delivered a strong and methodical performance to earn the Limited Drag Radial (LDR) victory at the 2026 US Street Nationals, the opening event of the Radial Outlaws Racing Series, held last week at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
Youmans qualified eighth in a deep LDR field with a 3.916 at 192.91 mph, placing himself squarely in the middle of a competitive 32 car elimination ladder.
Elimination Round Summary
Round One
Youmans opened eliminations with a solid pass, running 3.931 at 192.25 mph to advance while his opponent Scott Husted slowed to a 4.116.
Round Two vs. Brandon Carter
In round two, Youmans stayed consistent, posting a 3.911 at 195 mph to defeat Carter, who ran 4.732 at 113.46 mph.
Round Three vs. Jamie Stanton
The third round paired Youmans with Jamie Stanton. Youmans continued his steady pace, running 3.943 at 194.97 mph to move on as Stanton encountered trouble and slowed to a 4.357.
Round Four vs. Brian Weddle
In the semifinals, Youmans faced Brian Weddle and delivered one of his cleanest runs of the weekend, clocking a 3.873 at 197.25 mph to defeat Weddle’s 3.980 at 186.43 mph and earn a spot in the final.
Final Round vs. Justin Martin
In the final round, Youmans sealed the LDR victory with a 3.860 at 196.30 mph. Justin Martin encountered issues early and slowed to an 11.817, giving Youmans the win and a trip to the winner’s circle.
A Strong Start to the 2026 Season
With consistent elapsed times and clean execution through five rounds of eliminations, Youmans opened the 2026 season with an important LDR victory. The result sets the tone for a highly competitive year in Limited Drag Radial.
